Hacks for Section A – Reading
The Reading section (Section-A) intends to check the ability of the student to read and interpret the unseen passage, in the way they answer the given question. Two unseen passages of a total length of 700-750 words: –
- Factual Passages (300-350 words with eight very short answer type questions)
- Discursive Passages (350-400 words with four short answer type questions)
What are factual and discursive passages, how to attempt them?
A factual passage provides good clarity on the topics being discussed. In the other hand, the discursive passage will talk about any random topics that appear to have no connection with one another. It is often a challenging task to follow the changes in subject. Read the passage thoroughly.
