National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the date of NEET UG 2020. As usual the exam is scheduled on first Sunday of May i.e 3rd May 2020. Last year NTA conducted this exam for the first time. Record 15+ lakh candidates applied and the exam was held on May 5.

This announcement has clarified that NEET will be a pen and paper test. It also clears now that it will be conducted one time only. As per the announcement the result will be declared on 4th June 2020.
Important Dates
Important dates for NEET 2020 are summarised in the given table. These are tentative dates and need to be confirmed with the actual notification which will be released in October end.

NEET 2020 Exam Pattern:
NEET is a MCQ based three-hour long exam which comprises of three sections – Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Of the total 180 questions, 90 would be from biology and 45 each from physics and chemistry. Questions are asked from the combined syllabus of class XI and XII.
Every correct answer would get plus four marks and every incorrect answer result in a negative mark. Unattempt questions will not gain or lose any mark.
