Class 12 Accountancy board exam was successfully conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today i.e., 6th March 2019. The exam was started at 10:30 AM and continued till 1:30 PM. Early in the morning, several media houses reported that CBSE class 12 Accountancy paper (Set II) was reportedly leaked before the beginning of the exam. But, later CBSE confirmed that the question paper was NOT leaked. The examination was conducted smoothly by CBSE without any interruption.
Examination Pattern & Marking Scheme
CBSE Class 12 Accountancy was divided into two parts i.e., Part A and Part B.
Part A or Accounting for Partnership Firms and Companies had a weightage of 60 marks and students had to attempt all questions in this section.
Part B of the Accountancy paper had two options – Financial Statements & Computerized Accounting. This section amounted to 20 marks and students had to attempt questions from only one of the options.
Part A – Accounting for Partnership Firms and Companies
- There were 6 questions each carrying 1 mark.
- There were 4 questions each carrying 3 marks.
- There were 2 questions each carrying 4 marks.
- There were 3 questions each carrying 6 marks.
- There were 2 questions each carrying 8 marks.
Part B – Financial Statements or Computerized Accounting
- There were 2 questions each carrying 1 mark.
- There were 3 questions each carrying 4 marks.
- There was 1 question carrying 6 marks.

Feedback of the students
