Like every year the All India Institute of Medical Sciences will be conducting AIIMS MBBS 2020 entrance exam to select eligible candidates all across the nation to get admission into MBBS course in its various campuses.   • AIIMS 2020: Eligibility Criteria

– Candidate should have attained or will be attaining the age of 17 years as on 31st December 2020. (Note: There will be no upper age limit for AIIMS MBBS 2020.)

– Candidate should have passed his/her 12th Board exams under the 10+2 scheme/ Senior School Certificate Examination (CBSE) or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or an equivalent Examination from a recognized University or Board of any Indian State with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) with English as mandatory subjects.

– Candidate must possess a minimum percentage of 60% (for General) and 50% (for SC/ ST/ OPH & Foreign National) in 10+2 board exams.

  • AIIMS 2020: Tentative Exam dates

All candidates should be aware of all the important dates related to AIIMS MBBS 2020 exam.

  • AIIMS 2020: Exam Pattern

AIIMS 2020 will be conducted through online-computer based test (CBT) mode and the duration of the exam will be 3 hours and 30 minutes. AIIMS MBBS 2019 exam will consist of 200 objective type questions. This includes of 60 questions (40 MCQ’s + 20 A&R questions) from each Physics, Chemistry and Biology along with 10 MCQ’s on Aptitude & Logical thinking and 10 from General Knowledge., each carrying 1 mark. There will be negative marking of 1/3 marks for each incorrect answer. The medium of the question paper will be either in English or Hindi language. The question paper will be distributed into 5 sections as shown below:

  • AIIMS 2020: Syllabus

There is NO prescribed syllabus for AIIMS MBBS entrance exam. However, the general standard of AIIMS syllabus will be that of Class XI and XII under 10+2 Scheme/Intermediate Science. Candidates are requested to cover all the topics in Physics, Chemistry and Biology prescribed in their 10+2 syllabus. Apart from these subjects, AIIMS question paper will also consist of General Knowledge and Logical Thinking questions.   • AIIMS 2020: Application Form

AIIMS application form will be available only in the online mode. Candidates are requested to fill their application form through AIIMS official website; . The application process will commence from last week of November 2019. The Registration will be done according to PAAR facility which will consist of two stages – Basic registration and final registration. Before filling the application form candidates should read the prospectus and application procedure carefully to avoid any mistakes while filling the basic details.  After filling the required details, candidates should check the status of their application form whether it is being ACCEPTED or REJECTED. In case, application is rejected due to deficiency in basic registration then candidates are requested to make all the necessary changes before the last date/closure of online registration process. After completing basic registration, students whose registration will get accepted successfully have to further proceed for code generation step. In the final registration step, candidates are required to remaining details of form and make application fee payment. There will be no need to send any hard copy of application form via offline mode to the authority. Candidates are advised to keep the registration slip safely until the completion of admission procedure.

  • AIIMS 2020: Admit card

AIIMS admit cards will be available on the AIIMS official website. Candidates will have to login by entering their User ID & Password to download their admit card and bring it along with them on the day of examination. Note: Candidates will NOT receive any printed copy of admit card through post.

  • AIIMS 2020: Result

AIIMS 2020 Result will be declared on the official website of AIIMS where candidates will have to login by entering their User ID & Password to check their result.

The result will be published in the form of Raw Scores, Percentages, sectional percentile & total percentile. Also merit list will be released by the board to shortlist category wise eligible candidates. An overall merit list will be prepared by merging percentile score of total marks scored in both the shifts.

  • AIIMS MBBS 2020 Cut Off

AIIMS MBBS 2020 Cut Off will be released through online mode by AIIMS, New Delhi. Cut-off will be the minimum marks which candidates have to score to qualify the entrance examination.
