CBSE Board Exams are nearing. Each year a large number of +2 students appear for this exam to venture into the next level of their career. Science background students appear for NEET or JEE entrance exams to grab a seat in various Medical or Engineering colleges respectively, right after their board exams. They get very little time to prepare for these exams after the Boards. Most of the students find difficulty in studying for CBSE Board Exam while preparing for NEET or JEE. 1. Complete the Syllabus

Syllabus for CBSE Board exam is more or less similar of entrance exams like NEET. Though the questions asked in NEET and JEE exams are based on the in-depth understanding of concepts. So, while preparing for NEET and JEE you will be able to cover the syllabus of CBSE Board exams but keep in mind to not leave any topic. Most students leave out some topics which they think are easy or very difficult to study. To avoid this, you should start your preparation early so that you have enough time to complete the entire syllabus. The best books to study for any exam; whether it’s an entrance exam or CBSE board Exams, are NCERT Textbooks. These books offer a resource of basic Scientific and Mathematical concepts and their applications in a simple, easily understandable language. Studying from these textbooks will help you not only to perform well in your boards but also help to score high in NEET or JEE. Practice each and every question given in the NCERT textbooks and Exemplar books as most these questions or similar types are asked in the boards.

NEET or JEE is all about practice of questions and for practicing well, you should have a good grasp on NCERT content and concepts. Hence, to get good grip on concepts and theory, you must take the help of MTG’s Objective NCERT at your Fingertips to be well versed with the concepts in details.

  2. Understand the exam pattern

In order to score high in any exam, it is very important to understand the pattern of the  exam, since each of them follow a specific paper pattern that can be understood and strategically used to score well. Knowing the paper pattern helps to understand the areas on which more efforts should be given while preparing for the exam. There are some topics which are given more weightage in the exam paper and studying these topics makes sure that you can score good marks. For this you are advised to go through the latest CBSE Sample Papers.

3. Revise Thoroughly

Even after preparing the entire syllabus, it is seen that most of the students lose marks or unable to score-high in their CBSE board Exams due to insufficient revision. Since, revision is the key to score high, start revising your syllabus as soon as you finish studying it. Revision helps to remember all the concepts or formulae required to solve any question in the exams. If you have a time constraint, prioritize the chapters according to the weightage given. You may take help from good books based on NCERT which gives easy recapitulation of important concepts based on which most of the Board or other entrance exam such as NEET or JEE questions are framed.

 4. Solve Previous Years Papers

The most easiest and efficient way to score high in your Boards while preparing for NEET or JEE is to practice previous years’ question papers. This helps you to understand your accuracy level and check your preparedness for the exam. While solving these papers, you will be able to identify your weaknesses and you can put more effort to learn them accurately. JEE or NEET aspirants also should practice previous years papers of these exams too if you wish to crack them while outshining in your CBSE board Exams  with flying colours.

5. Improvise on your weaknesses

When you solve previous years’ papers, your weak areas get highlighted. Improving on these weak areas is necessary to ace in yours boards. For this, you should solve sample papers based on the latest ones released by CBSE. Practicing a good number of sample papers will enhance your perfection in solving questions in the boards. Also, it will build confidence in you to overcome real exam fear.
